Hibbert Set for Final Snocross Event of the Season in New York

HIBBERT SET FOR FINAL SNOCROSS EVENT OF THE SEASON IN NEW YORK

Goodridge, Minn. - Monster Energy/Arctic Cats Tucker Hibbert is set to race his sixth and final snocross event of the season this weekend in Farmington, New York. The AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) Eastern National will be the last time snocross fans will get to see Hibbert on a snowmobile before he turns his focus to his other passion, motocross.

It will be Hibberts first appearance at Finger Lakes Racetrack but hes no stranger to success in The Empire State. His last appearance in New York was Feb. 2007 and marked the first time he swept a national event - winning all rounds of qualifying and both pro finals. He calls that race one of his all-time favorite memories and hopes to repeat that performance in front of the allegiance of East Coast Arctic Cat fans.
Hibbert is fresh off a historic win at ESPN Winter X Games 14. By taking the Snocross gold medal four-peat in Aspen, Colo. last Sunday, he became the most decorated Winter X Games snowmobile athlete with nine overall medals.

Eastern National racing action begins Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. with pro qualifying. Fridays opening ceremonies are set for 6:45 p.m. with the Pro Super Stock final to follow. Saturdays pro show will kick-off at 4 p.m. For more information along with a full schedule, visit www.isocracing.com .

I cant wait to get to New York. Im still on a high from the Winter X Games and hope to carry that momentum into this weekend. The last time I raced in New York was the first time I swept a national event and was my final race of the 2007 season. Ill never forget that weekend and its one of my all-time favorite memories. There are tons of Arctic Cat fans on the East Coast. Im excited to race in front of people that are so nuts about snowmobiling!
